Terms of Sale and Use

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

These terms apply when you use this website or buy a SurviveDrive drive from [BUSINESS NAME] ("SurviveDrive," "we," "us"). By placing an order, you agree to them.

Orders and pricing

Prices are in U.S. dollars. We may change prices, promotions and product details at any time, but changes don't affect orders already placed. If a price or product is listed in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. Promotion codes are subject to the terms stated with each promotion and can't be combined unless we say so.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your order is accepted when payment is completed and you receive a confirmation email.

Shipping and returns

We currently ship within the contiguous United States. See our Shipping & Returns policy for processing times, delivery and how to reach us about an order.

Your license to the software and content

The SurviveDrive application, its design and the original guides written for SurviveDrive are owned by [BUSINESS NAME] and protected by copyright. Buying a drive gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use that drive's software and original content for your own household. You may print guides for personal use. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the SurviveDrive application or original guides.

The drive also includes third-party works, such as U.S. government publications, Wikipedia and other openly licensed material, and open-source software. Each is provided under its own license or public-domain status, and notices are included on the drive. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licenses.

Informational use only

SurviveDrive is a general reference for situations where professional help is unavailable. It is not medical, legal, or other professional advice and does not replace trained responders, physicians or official emergency instructions. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number first and follow instructions from local authorities. Information may be incomplete or out of date. AI-generated answers can be wrong; always check the cited source before acting.

No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SurviveDrive and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or completeness.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, [BUSINESS NAME] is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss or damage arising from use of or reliance on the content, and our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some states don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.
